visibility
Together with our communications plan, our results dissemination strategy enables us to increase the visibility and recognition of microelectronics, photonics and semiconductors in the social sphere with a national and international impact.
main objective
To position the Chair as a regional leader in the training of talent and research in microelectronic design and to generate a high level of interest in collaborating with the University on Microelectronic Design and Semiconductor projects and activities within the industrial sector, and amongst research personnel, students and the general public.
specific objectives
The specific objectives contribute to the achievement of the general objective.
- To increase the recognition and prestige of the capabilities and activities of the Chair within the Microelectronic Design and Semiconductor business sector, both nationally and internationally.
- To increase the recognition and prestige of the capabilities and activities of the Chair among Microelectronic Design and Semiconductor research staff, both nationally and internationally.
- To increase the recognition and prestige of the capabilities and activities of the Chair among undergraduate, masters and postgraduate students of Microelectronic Design and Semiconductors.
- To increase the recognition and prestige of the capabilities and activities of the Chair among future students, pre-University baccalaureate students, primary and secondary students, and especially girls and women, in order to encourage them to follow a vocation in microelectronics and semiconductors.
- To increase the recognition and prestige of the capabilities and activities of the Chair among the general public with regard to the social impact and opportunities of the development of microelectronic and semiconductor technologies. To measure the achievement of the results dissemination objectives, we will set the baseline as the number of expressions of interest and/or collaboration requests received for each specific objective.
observatory
As part of its socio-economic commitment, the UPV-VaSiC Chair will put all the technical and multidisciplinary knowledge of the UPV at the disposal of the companies of the Valencian Community in which microelectronics performs significant functions.
The UPV-VaSiC Chair serves semiconductor companies, large operators, OEM integrators and SMEs with an impact on the design, assembly or use of microchips as critical supplies.
technological networks
The Chair will support participation in international technology networks of researchers and companies promoting collaboration in R&D projects, such as ENHANCE and SOHA.
